Howdy! I’m Janie Lynn, but call me JL. I love cows, rain, and more cream than coffee. Welcome to the barn where you hear more laughs than you do “moo’s”!
On second thought, let’s introduce ourselves more formally.
Hi, my name is Janie Lynn, but you can call me JL if you want. What’s your name?
Great! I love your name. It’s a pleasure to meet you. What have you been up to lately?
Me? Well, let me tell a little about myself.
I am 14-years-old; am ambitious, stubborn, and an attempt-to-be-creative. I am set on fire for my Faith and love it all the way through. St. Philomena, pray for us!
I am the oldest of nine buckaroos, and am blessed with the best mom and dad ever. In our home, my mom is the teacher and my dad is the principal. We love it.
We live on a little hobby farm on the acreage of Cheese Head Country. Our polk-a-dot barn (not) is the home to our Jersey cows, sheep, chickens, and the pets – the dogs and the cats.
Stay awhile and enjoy the peace of the country, the music of a large family, and the excitement of a farm.
Hi JL.
I love reading all about you & you family! You sure have a way with words. I love you!

Thanks! I used the “wand”, a type of curling iron. At first, it can make you have SUPER tight curls. Overtime, they flatten out, but also hold all day! I love the wand. It makes a pretty, but different, type of curl.
Thanks for taking your time to read! I’ll keep posting (and speed things up a bit!)!

Okay, cool! Does your hair hold curls pretty well? My holds them REALLY well!! It’s naturally “curly” (really, more like naturally wavy, now), and when I was like four, five, six, and around that age, my hair was like mid-back length and SUPER curly and more blonde than it is now. I loved it that way, and wish the curls and color had stayed 🙂

Fun intro. You signed up for our blog, so I thought I’d stop by. Enjoyed your recent post about cleaning a milk machine. When I was s a kid growing up in Michigan my family used to take “farm vacations,” to dairy farms. Loved it! My wife takes her restaurant staff to farms whenever she gets the chance. People need to know where their food comes from. Good luck with your blog. Ken

Thanks! I know, farms everywhere are slowly diminishing. Everyone is now eating fast-food instead of “fresh-from-the-garden”. We need our farms, both big and small.
XOXO JL
Psst… Love your blog! 🙂
